Privacy
Last updated: August 2026
Short version: no account, no tracking, and your calculations never leave your browser. If you give us your email, we use it for the one thing you gave it for. That's the whole policy — details below.
No account, ever
Nothing on figured.fyi requires signing up. Every tool works immediately, for everyone.
Calculations happen in your browser
When you use a calculator, the numbers you type are processed on your own device. They are not sent to us, stored, or logged. We cannot see what you calculate.
Email is optional and single-purpose
If you subscribe for updates or leave an email with a tool suggestion, we use it to tell you about the thing you asked about. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe. We don't sell or share addresses, and your address is stored on our own server, not with a marketing company. To have it deleted, use the contact form and say so — it will be gone within 30 days.
Analytics: currently none
We don't run analytics or advertising trackers, and we set no tracking cookies. If that ever changes, this page will say exactly what was added and why, before it applies to you.
Server logs
Like nearly every website, our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security and debugging. They rotate automatically and are not used for profiling.
Fonts
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google's servers see the font request (your IP and browser details), as they do on most of the web. Google's Fonts privacy FAQ describes what they log.
Children
figured.fyi is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information — there's no account to create and no email required for anything.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes are announced to subscribers before they take effect.
Contact
Questions about privacy or your data: use the contact form — it reaches the person who runs the site directly.
If this page and our behavior ever disagree, the behavior is the bug — tell us.
